Warm hands and heart...
Browsing through knitting forums, I'd fallen in love with Cranford mitts, knitted in Yarn Yard Hug. Many in the cyber shopping world agreed, as Natalie's stocks of Hug yarn were low and I was stalking the poor woman's shop on a daily basis for wooly updates!
Cranford Mitts
A very kind knitting friend made the most generous offer and sent me enough Hug from her own stash to make a pair of the coveted mitts. And with that act of kindness, has left me with warm hands AND heart.... Thank you, L!

They are beautiful mitts!
Beautiful mitts and extra warming for the kindness behind their creation
Those are lovely Cranfords Angie. It's a great pattern isn't it.
Thank you:o) It's a lovely pattern to knit - enough lace and new techniques to keep interest hooked, and not too much challenge to be stressful (if that makes sense).
They are lovely mitts indeed :-)
Very pretty! I hadn't seen that pattern before...
Thank you:o)
I wore them today, during our first blast of snow in South Wales - and they were great!
Another good thing about the pattern and the yarn - it has a lot of 'give' in it. The mitts fit the girls' dainty hands, AND I can get my RA heifer hands comfortably in too:o)
Very pretty indeed :)
I've decided I really need some proper gloves with fingers with all this snow we've had. Dog walking is cold business lol!
wow those look amazing well done
