A long time coming!

I visited Occupational Health at work the other week to have my regular bloods done to monitor the medication I'm on for the RA. My lovely colleagues there took one look at me and announced I looked blooming awful (just as well the old ego is not tooo fragile, isn't it?) and told me to take 2 weeks off work to rest. I've done as I was told - MrB only wishes he had the same gift of getting me to do his bidding;o). Some of those hours have been wiled away working through the endless pile of WIPs amassed over recent months (who are you kidding, Blogblethers ... several years!!)

One down, several more to go!

Noro Top with short sleeves
Designed by Jenny Watson in Noro Designer Mini Knits
Yarn: Noro Silk Garden, Colour 264
Skeins: Pattern called for 4 but I purchased 5 skeins to ensure colour around the neck line
Size: L
Started: January 2008 and e-v-e-n-t-u-a-l-l-y finished September 2008!!

ooOoo
The lovely Aknita ( http://aknitasknits.blogspot.com) touched me greatly by nominating me for The Brillante Weblog award. Am not sure about you, but I never feel quite blog-worthy enough to be acknowledged in such a lovely way... H0wever, I just wanted to say thank you to Aknita for her support and friendship over the past few years and to say please head over to her site to see some of the most beautiful Forest Canopy Shawls you will ever see!

Without further ado, I'd like to 'pass on the honours' to some bloggers who brighten up my cyber reading!

Two weeks off will be nice, but nicer if it wasn't ordered for one's health. I hope it does the trick.

You are way too kind with your nom. Thank you verry verry much. :-)

Hope you're feeling better soon luv *gentle hugs*

Ok, so this linking thing...
Write the text you want to be the link - then highlight it, and up on the toolbar where you'd select bold/italic etc is a little icon of a globe with a bit of chain in front of it, click that and in the box that comes up you can type the url of the page you want to link to (or you can copy and paste it from the browser window ;o) ) then click ok, and hey presto!
I find it easier to write a bit more text after the thing i want to link to as sometimes when i carry on writing after i've made a link it gets confused and makes everything a link and i have to go in and edit the html... we'll save that for another day hehe!

Hope this helps, if it doesn't then holler and i'll try and do some screen grabs :o)

Oh thank you very much. I am pleased you enjoy my blog that much you feel it deserves an award. Thank you.

I hope you feel better after yuor break. The Noro cardi looks fab! I do wish I could knit with Noro, but that one really plays havoc with my allergies, so I'll just have to admire yours!
Take it easy and thank you again.

Love the little cardi, I've been close to buying that book of patterns just for that one, thinking it's only a short sleeved raglan, I can do that but never get around to it! Can you highlight the persons name by clicking on it at the beginning and end, if you do that (just like when you cut and paste) and then click the link button, it gives you a box in which you put the web address and tada, well it should link for you!
