Woohoo ~ Work-Life balance restored!

Its been a tough few weeks and despite all my work-related preaching to others about the need for work-life balance to maintain health, mine's been zilch! More like work-work... I have heeded my own words and we're off to collect Mr Blether's new (to him ... but from eBay) People Carrier and then heading off on-mass to Alton Towers for a family day out. Really looking forward to it and have even managed to persuade DD1 that some days she doesn't need to be too cool to be seen out with her mother! I don't go back to work now till Tuesday. Yippee! There may be some posts of (long overdue) finished items here by then! Wooley may yet be revealed!

Ooooh, a people carrier. Very posh! Hope you had a lovely time at Alton Towers. I'm off just now on annual leave and I'm not back till Monday. It's a lovely feeling knowing you can lie in bed all day if you want or just do whatever you fancy. Looking forward to seeing your finished items especially Wooley. What was the yarn like to knit with? Is it itchy? I have issues with scratchy things touching my skin! Haha.
Take care,
Love

People carriers are just the best thing ever when you've got a family. We've had one for 3 years and it is great. We can get all of us and the dog cage in ours.

Having squeezed 6 of us into my Honda Civic to travel to collect the other car/Alton Towers, I absolutely agree with the positive comments about People Carriers!! We had an 8-seater before and really missed it when it collapsed and gave up the ghost. Betweeen us, we have 5 children (18, 17, 14, 12 and 10) and 2 dogs. Hmmmm, maybe we should have gone for a double decker:)
