A picture paints a thousand words

At last! Pictures of my stash acquired at the Get Knitted Open Day last weekend! The red/pink Cascade is to become Wooley from Noro Unlimited for DD2 and for me, Sienna (Interweave Knits Fall) is beckoning in the Lamb's Pride ...

I'm sitting here drooling over your Get Knitted stash photo!! I'm hoping one day to go to an open day at Get Knitted but the only trouble would be restraining myself and not buying everything :-) The Koigu looks just like the colour I've got in my stash.

Thank you! Am really chuffed with my buys - and taking me all my tiny morsils of restraint not to cast on both till I have other WIPs finished:( Lol think anyone would notice another carrier back sneaked into my WIP pile?? Would love to go again to another Open Day ... would also love to get along to AY too but, unfortunately, Bristol is so much closer...

ooohhh I can't tell you how much my fingers are itching to cast on a new project! Am trying to behave until I have the Wendy Fusion bolero finished (only 1/2 a front and the edging rib left to do). Have been well(ish) behaved and only sneaked my first Jaywalker in to break the monotony!

Ooh - cool stash! Get Knitted does bad things for the wallet doesn't it? But its such fun too ;)

Thanks for your comments on my blog and glad I've inspired you! I haven't felted the slippers yet as I'm working on the 2nd one - but hopefully will finish it tonight and felt it tomorrow (fingers crossed) so should update my blog by the end of the week. Can't wait now, the 2nd second sock looks so cool and its a fun project too.

And don't all good knitters have an ever-growing to do list......

Looks like you had a great time at the open day. I'm green with envy! Particularly love the teal coloured yarn - it's beautiful!
