A daughter's duties ...
DD2 flies up tomorrow to Glasgow to spend a few days with her father. She was obviously in reflective mood earlier on this evening ... I had her engaged in her usual task and she ruefully commented 'I'll miss you, mum ... but I won't miss being your wool frame!'. How am I to wind balls over the next few days :( ??

Ah, kids do have their uses after all ;)
And I wanted to say thanks for all the support and helpful comments you made on AY when I was angry with my ex. It's so helpful to hear that other people have been through it and come out the other side :)
Bless her, she has her arms permanently extended into hank size position!
Hope things are more settled now with your ex. It always seems so strange how something that started so optimisticaly can go so array - none of us walk down the aisle hoping for a divorce, do we? And thank you for your kind comments ... I may be needing some support over this weekend when DD2 starts to call with increasing frequency as they always do when at their dad's.
Thanks for your message re. Em's results. Am glad it has given your daughter inspiration. We are definately floating today.
